We replaced the incandescent icicles with LEDs (too many duds and half-lit strings), but miss the warm glow of the old kind and wish these weren’t so blue.

Presidents’ Day

Five miles on the trail from Oak Ridge to the Mawavi Road bridge and back in Prince William National Park on Saturday afternoon. Mostly sunny, about 60 degrees.

Half-inch of snow last night . . .

. . . but not much left by 10:30 this morning. Went for a run in shorts and t-shirt about 3:30, when it was 50 degrees. Perhaps winter hasn’t really got started yet.
