Our rose is still with us, despite having suffered a one-inch rainfall and then a number of frosts. This may be my last rose picture of the year, because right afterwards, Jammer knocked off a half-dozen petals with a swipe of her tail.

There was a great blue heron standing to the left of the beaver lodge but he must have been too shy to smile for the selfie. 92F, 33C, 70%RH, 81DP, 114HI.
