Pittsburgh-Cumberland bike ride
As I was sick, I missed this week’s 4-day bike adventure on the Great Allegheny Passage, but my friends are having a wet and wild time:
Corolla trip
A little bike ride in high heat and humidity
Ride 29, Mon July 2nd, 9:40am, Heritage Trail and Canal Path loop x 2, 6.4 miles, 45 mins, with Charlie and Leslie, 7:02 pace, 8.53 mph, 90F 32C 45% 77DP, failed to start our apps. This spot was under two or three feet of rushing water a week earlier.

Fathers Day 10k Race
Our first foot race together, Erin’s second 10k race, and her first women’s first place award. Erin’s time 54:01, mine 54:05. It was Bishops Events’ Fathers Day races, Old Mill Park, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Dad’s birthday weekend
With Nick and Judy, Gareth and Nancy, we celebrated Dad’s birthday on what was coincidentally Memorial Day Weekend. Dad and I had a walk in Duff Park one day and Beaver Run the next, where we noticed an exceptionally large tulip poplar tree. Didn’t take many pictures this weekend, and only saved these six:
