Halloween’s this weekend
Looks like we won’t have to decorate the gate this year.
We also had some pretty good cobwebs in our woods this morning.

While E&T were trying to get a few things done at home.
We took tea
at the Butchart Gardens, Victoria, British Columbia. From our table we had a glimpse through the Italian Garden to the bay beyond. Here are the Sunken Garden and the Ross Fountain, created from parts of the former limestone quarry:
Wilton Woods to Huntley Meadows Park and back
At the half-way point of our six-miler on my final day at work. Mario V. in red, Peter F. in black. There was a great blue heron standing to the left of the beaver lodge but he must have been too shy to smile for the selfie. 92F, 33C, 70%RH, 81DP, 114HI. Some of us took some walking breaks on the way back.
